After obtaining excellent results at the O-Levels IGCSE Cambridge exams in January 2009, students of the Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary have once again exhibited another sterling performance in the A-Levels Tanzanian National Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (NECTA) in February 2009. The results were released on Friday 30th April 2009.
Fidahussein Premji scored 3A’s in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. He was amongst the top 10 students in Tanzania.
Out of 44 students who sat for the exams:
- 8 students scored 1st Division
- 11 students scored 2nd Division
- 20 students scored 3rd Division
- Chemistry, Biology and Advanced Mathematics Departments of the School were ranked 6th, 5th, 5th in the whole of Tanzania
