Brilliant Student Award 2009

The Africa Federation has introduced The Brilliant Student Award – an annual scholarship programme that offers a one time award of $5000 USD towards higher education.  One male and one female student who have displayed a consistent record of academic excellence are selected to receive this award.

The Education Board Secretariat received nominations from Dar es Salaam, Nairobi, and Mombasa.  After considering the criteria of selection, Salim Kassim Muraj and Fatema Shabbir Merali of Mombasa were presented with this year’s award.

Congratulations to both students for this fabulous achievement.
