CoEJ Hosts Young Girls Camp – Portsmouth, UK

Updated on 13 May 2008

The Khawateen Committee of The Council Of European Jamaats (CoEJ) will be holding a ‘Young Girls Camp’ for girls between the ages of 8 to 11 years. The camp will be held at Wessex Jamaat, Portsmouth during the week of 27th to 30th May 2008 at a cost of only £85.00 per person.

The aim of the camp is to provide an opportunity for girls within our community to meet one another, find common goals and develop lasting friendships as they become baligh and embark upon their journey towards the Almighty.

Within a fun and relaxed environment they will engage in self development, and sometimes challenging, activities that encourage teamwork and strengthens their akhlaq. They will learn about Islamic fundamentals and value systems and incorporate this into their daily activities, helping them to realize that Islam is truly a way of life.
