The Mini Health Screening Program which was initiated by the Central Health Board (CHB) of The Africa Federation four years ago in Dar es Salaam in the Holy month of Ramadhan continues every year. Each year, it gains momentum with increased participation. Last year about 1,000 people, both ladies and gents, were screened.

Several people with elevated blood pressure and some with impaired blood sugar who were not aware were found during the screening program. The Jaffery Medical Students Association with the support from the community doctors, CHB, CMB and Ebrahim Haji Charitable Health Centre staff join hands in this important health screening program .

CHB urges all Jamaats to conduct such screening programs each year in their respective areas and is available for support.
