Reports: Zainabiya Health Centre and Aeinullah Eye Clinic – Bangalore, India
The World Federation’s Zainabiya Health Centre and Aenullah Eye Clinic in Bangalore have conducted 3 free medical camps from September 2006 to June 2007 and screened 1288 community members in total. A separate eye camp was conducted which screened 75 members of the community, where 19 people were found to have cataracts and these were operated upon at the Aeinullah Eye clinic. Approximately 1088 students were screened during this program as well. All records are kept on file for repeat and follow up visits by patients.
