Discussions Facilitated by Shaykh Abbas Virjee - Qum, Iran

Updated 22 July 2008

The WF Qum Office has been hosting series of classes and discussions on Ethics (Akhlaq) with Shaykh Abbas Virjee at its offices at Dar al-Zahra

The focus of the classes is primarily on the knowledge of the soul (Ma’rifat e Nafs).  The classes are well attended by community students.

Sayyid Hasan Ridawi, one of the attendees of the class commented: ‘I have read many books over the course of my life and have many more to read yet I have realized the most important book to read is my own soul.’

Shaykh Nadir Jaffer, Manager of the Qum Office commented: ‘This is a good example of The Qum Office of The World Federation facilitating an excellent series of discussions in an academic but inspiring format. I commend Shaykh Abbas for his initiative and dedication to further the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt in the classical Hawza tradition of learning and then disseminating.’
