Hilal Committee of IEB Convenes to discuss Sighting for Shawwal Crescent

The Hilal Committee appointed up by IEB deliberated last Thursday night to discuss all possible outcomes of the sighting of the crescent for Shawwal.

Based on the community criteria and in line with the ruling of Ayatullah Seestani, there is strong likelihood for the crescent to be sighted in many parts of the world but no possibility of sighting is expected in Europe on the eve of Saturday 13th November. The Committee has also written to Ayatullah Seestani.

The Commmittee will advice confirmation of this to mumineen and a statement will be released on Saturday night ,Inshallah.
