Sheikh Muhsin Kanani was the guest speaker at Dar al-Zahra at a majlis organised by the WF Qum Office to commemorate the 20th of Shuhada e Karbala.
Sheikh Muhsin spoke about the concepts of Ta’meen and Ishraaq . These concepts are of the precedents of Allah. So if a person is pleased and happy with the good deeds of the past, or those of the present, then he/she will be rewarded as though he/she had performed it. In the same way if a person is pleased and happy with the bad deeds of the past, or those of the present, then he/she will be punished as though he/she had performed it.

Sheikh Muhsin highlighted that these concepts are part of most of the ziyarat recitations we recite. For example in Ziyarate Waritha we mention God’s curses be upon those who killed Imam Hussain (as) … and those who heard about it and were happy with it.
Sheikh Muhsin also listed various other precedents of Allah which is described in Qur’an namely:
• The relationship between gratitude and receiving enhancements from Allah
• The relationship between righteousness and receiving blessings from Allah
• The relationship between righteousness and receiving knowledge from Allah
• The relationship between righteousness and receiving a defining criterion for life from Allah
• The relationship between righteousness and the inheritance of the earth by such servants of Allah
• The tests through a measure of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, loss of life and loss of fruits of toil
• The nature of those who deny Him and their heedlessness

The programme started with recitation of The Holy Quran and Marthiyah. The majlis was in Gujarati. The WF Qum Office was honoured by the presence of many community Zawwar from Tanzania, Madagascar and France. The programme ended with Nawha, Ziyarate Waritha and Nyaz.
