The World Federation has organised two Short Courses this year in the holy city of Qum:
- The Bab al-Ilm course is for 14-17 year olds and will run from 27 July - 10 August 2008
- The Madinah al-Ilm course is for 18-24 year olds and will run from 20 July - 10 August 2008
This year, The World Federation wishes to recruit volunteers for the position of Student Helper (previously known as 'mentors').

- Who can apply?
The application process is open to everyone.
- I am not in Europe - can I apply?
Yes - applications are not limited to any part of the world.
- When is the deadline?
Applications close at 23:59 on Tuesday 13 May 2008
- Will there be interviews?
Yes - interviews will take place between 19-23 May 2008 in London. Applicants from overseas will be interviewed by telephone.
- If I apply will I be guaranteed an interview?
No - there will be an initial sifting process of applications and not all applicants will be guaranteed an interview
