On 18 August 2010, in the course of meetings during the holy month of Ramadan, Dr. Mahmood Abdulla, the Executive Dean of the Islamic Institute for Post-Graduate Studies in Sayyida Zainab held a consultative meeting with Ayatullah Sayyid Mujtaba al-Hussaini.  Ayatullah is the personal representative in Syria of the Rehbar Ayatullah Ali al-Khamenai (May Allah grant him a long life) and Imam al-Jum'ah in the Musalla of the Haram of Sayyida Zainab a.s.

Several issues pertaining to the Hawzas in Sayyida Zainab were discussed. In the course of discussion, Ayatullah Mujtabal al-Hussaini disclosed that on completion of his tenure as the Principal of Hawza Imam Khomeini, Hujjatul Islam Shaykh al-Waheedi had raised a comprehensive report, in which he had highly praised the IIPS.

Dr. Abdulla assured Ayatullah Mujtaba al-Hussaini that we have endeavoured to maintain high standards and invited Sayyid Mujtaba to visit IIPS.
