IIPS Staff bids farewell to current manager, Hussein Ravji

The Islamic Institute for Postgraduate Studies (IIPS) delivers a four year MA in Islamic Education and a Hawza curriculum to students as part of the Muballigheen Training Programme (MTP). The Institute is based in Damascus, Syria.

On 2nd February 2010, the IIPS management, staff, and students assembled to bid farewell to Hussein bhai Ravji after a service of three years as the Manager of IIPS and The World Federation office in Damascus. Hussein bhai was part of the initial team that worked towards establishing the IIPS.

Thanking him for his services, Dr. Mahmood Abdulla, the Executive Dean ofIIPS said: "The students and all members of the staff join me in wishing youa very bright future in your new career."

On behalf of the teachers, Shaykh Qassim Assady and on behalf of the students, Hassnain Mir paid tribute to Hussein bhai for his work at IIPS.
