JIBA Karachi Chapter will be holding its 16th International Conference in Pune, India on the 8th and 9th of November 2008. In addition to the Conference, a special trip to the Indian province of Gujarat has been arranged for the members and their families to visit their ancestral places.
The participants will journey by airplane from Pune to Ahmadabad; from there they will travel in a luxurious bus. The itinerary from Ahmadabad will be as follows:

2 Days in Ahmadabad, which will include a meeting with the business community, sightseeing, shopping and a golden medical check-up at the world renowned Krishna Hospital |

Ahmedabad to Bhuj by train; one full day to see Bhuj, Kutch-Mundra and its surrounding places |
| Day 4 |
The fourth day will be spent at Chorwad or Mandvi Resort – providing an opportunity to rest |
| Day 5 |
Early departure to Jamnagar where participants will meet the Jamaat there, go sightseeing and leave in the evening for Bhavnagar via Lalpur; will arrive in Bhavnagar at 10pm |
| Day 6 |
Travel to Mahuva, Tropaj/Talaja - all of which are Khoja Centres; lunch at Mahuva & back to Bhavnagar where the trip will end with a dinner with community members |
- The entire trip will last 6 days
- The total cost will be about $1,200 to $1,300 (includes the flight from Pune to Ahmedabad, train to Bhuj, luxury bus to all other destinations, all hotels (2-3-4 stars), all food and the Golden Health Check up
- Those not wanting the “Health Check Up” can deduct Rupees 5000 from above cost
- JIBA recommends that any surplus accumulated be contributed towards various charities in Gujarat
- Those participants wanting to travel back to Mumbai will have to arrange their own booking from Bhavnagar to Mumbai
- Those participants wanting to travel back to Dubai will have to arrange their own booking
- The rented bus will be going back to Ahmadabad and as such those who want to go back to Jamnagar can travel by bus free of charge
- Given that November is a very high season in India, flights from Pune to Ahmadabad are running at full capacity; as such, members are requested to book their tickets by 15th October at the latest
- Please note: prices have been calculated based on 35 passengers per bus; as such, members will be accepted on a first come first serve basis
- Members are encouraged to register and confirm their travel plans as soon as possible
