The World Federation is inviting tenders from community businesses worldwide to submit their interest in assisting The World Federation to source computers for its COMPUTERS FOR STUDENTS drive. The ‘Computers for Students Drive’ is an initiative of The World Federation in partnership with The Africa Federation, CoEJ and NASIMCO to provide underprivileged students studying in Hawzas and community schools with computers to support their educational development.
Over 100 Hawza students studying in Qum, Najaf, Syria and India do not have computers from which they can research, communicate with fellow students and individuals or work from as part of their learning.
In addition, over 300 community students in Africa, Pakistan and India do not have access to computers. Providing these children with workstations creates educational opportunities for children living in poverty.
REQUIREMENTS
The World Federation is sourcing one or a combination of the following items:
- Laptops (used and refurbished)
- Laptops (new)
- Desktop computers (used and refurbished)
- Desktop computers (new)
In addition,
- Microsoft Office licenses for each computer provided
- Shipping of computers to various destinations
If you are able to assist The World Federation and wish to make a difference in the lives of up-and-coming underprivileged students in our Hawzas and schools, please email relief@world-federation.org to submit your interest by 1st April 2010.
Thank you for your continued support.
