Ramadhan Relief 1431: Easing a brother’s debt in Bosnia

Br. Salih is a Shia Muslim in Bosnia who works on his farm with his three sons. He took out a loan to build a greenhouse with the hope of creating a sustainable business to support his family. The greenhouse will allow him to grow certain crops throughout the year.

Through the Ramadhan Relief Program, The World Federation can help individuals like Br. Salih to repay their debts so that they can spend their income taking care of their families.

STRUGGLING IN BOSNIA
There exists a small Shia community in Bosnia where a good majority of the members are new to the faith and young couples with small children. Some of these individuals are working, some are students and some of them are having a very difficult time finding a job. These brothers and sisters, who cannot find decent work, take up odd jobs in the agriculture industry. Their salaries are often not enough to buy homes or build for a sustainable future.

RAMADHAN RELIEF IN BOSNIA
Each year, our brothers and sisters living in Bosnia look forward to the support they receive from the Ramadhan Relief Program. They have worked hard to build an infrastructure that supports the Tableegh and relief efforts of the community as they recover from the impact of the nation’s turbulent history.

Your donation to the Ramadhan Relief Fund will allow the Shia community in Bosnia to:

Organise Ramadhan lectures and du’as where up to 60 people will participate in
Arrange Qu’ran classes
Hold 15 Iftaars
Provide cash gifts to 10 families
Help a family repay part of their loan
