The World Federation’s Sponsor Our Seniors Program is aiming to sponsor 350 seniors across India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Today, we are urgently seeking donors to sponsor 14 out of these 350 destitute seniors in Sri Lanka. Information on these seniors is displayed in the table below. Many of our elders in the developing world are living in very desperate conditions where they have no or very little source of income to meet their basic needs. The Sponsor Our Seniors Program aims to give dignity and peace of mind to these seniors by providing them with monthly financial aid so that they can afford essential goods and services such as medical care, healthy meals and decent clothes.
Imam Ali (as) said: “The Holy Prophet (saw) narrated from Allah, the Exalted, on the night of ascend Who said: ‘O Ahmad, My love is the loving of the poor. Bring the poor near to yourself and situate them close to yourself in order that I approach you’.” Please make your donation today. For these seniors, time passes with agonizing slowness when you’re hungry, sick or scared. For only £10 GBP / $20 USD/CAD per month (or £120 GBP / $240 USD/CAD per year) you can make life better for one senior. All of these seniors here are non-sadat; therefore Sadaka monies will be accepted towards this Program. As a donor, we will provide you with a report on your senior(s) at least once a year.
