CoEJ Annual Conference for Alims and Zakirs

The Islamic Cultural Affaires (ICA) Committee of The Council of European Jamaats (CoEJ) will be holding their annual conference for Alims and Zakirs serving communities of member Jamaats. This event will take place Inshallah on:

Sunday 23rd November 2008
10.30am to 4.30pm
Zainabia Islamic Centre
(Peveral Drive, Milton Keynes, MK14 6AR)

THE PURPOSE

  • The aim of this gathering is to share ideas and knowledge in order to enhance our understanding and response to topical issues raised within our communities.
  • In addition, the conference will be looking forward to the coming month of Muharram and exploring the idea of a united presentation on one topic on one single day across all member Jamaats.
  • This year's agenda also promotes a special focus on women and participation by Zakiras and students alike is much encouraged.

Participants wishing to attend the conference are kindly requested to register online at www.coej.org as soon as possible.  If you know of any Alim, Zakir or Zakira who may be interested in attending this event, please do direct them to the website to register.
