Husaini Islamic Centre Holds an Open Day for the Public – Peterborough, UK

The Husaini Islamic Centre in Peterborough held an open day for the public on Sunday 29 June 2008. This open day was a chance for people to see and learn more about the practices and beliefs of our community, take guided tours, and view various exhibitions.

Sheikh Abbas Ismail commented : "This is an excellent initiative by Peterborough Jamaat in helping to promote the accurate face of Islam. The examples of our Aimma (as) and the exhortations of the Quran greatly emphasise the importance of respectful dialogue. I pray that Allah grants increased tawfeeqat for us to reach out to others and acquaint them with the Ahlul Bayt (as)."
