The 16th JIBA International Conference will be held on the 8th and 9th of November 2008 in Pune, India. These dates are announced well in advance to allow members to start making arrangements early so as to ensure flights and hotel bookings are fixed in time.
Why Pune?
- Pune enjoys a very pleasant and cool weather during November and is considered the peak season.
- India is now an emerging market offering great potential for entrepreneurial and investment projects. This will be a great opportunity to investigate and learn firsthand the market conditions. A forum will also be organised with the business community in Mumbai with the aim of sharing experiences and developing a network for enterprises.
- JIBA has also planned a tour of Gujarat to visit ancestral homes and see where community members originated from and appreciate their development. This will be an historical moment for all in terms of revisiting humble beginnings. This trip will take at least seven days.

Once your travel plans are confirmed, please inform the JIBA Secretariat of arrival dates and hotels.
Accommodations
- Accommodations range from USD 200 to USD 400 per room per double occupancy
- Furnished one bedroom Hall apartments are available at approx USD 150 (Upto 4 persons)
- Furnished two bedroom Hall apartments are available at approx USD 225 (Up to 6 persons)
