Hajj Medical Forum

The World Federation is facilitating a 'Hajj Medical Forum' in Nairobi on Saturday 30 June from 9 am to 1 PM.
 
It  is hoped that by the end of the forum the Hajj representatives would have come up with a strategy and plan as to how best to provide with health care to our Hujjaj during Hajj. Azad Kanani the World Federation Hon Treasurer will then present the findings to the World Federation Executive Council Meeting the next day for discussion and hopefully adoption. The community can then Inshallah all work together to achieve the objectives that they would have agreed on during the 'Hajj Medical Forum'.
 
Concept: There are many shia groups coming from all over the world for Hajj. The Forum will be trying to look at groups coming mainly from India, Pakistan, Africa, Europe and North America. Most of the groups (though not all) from Africa, Europe and North America have their own doctor within the group. Not all groups from India and Pakistan have doctors in the group. We are hoping that this forum will enable us to work in a way whereby most shia hujjaj have access to medical facilities and do not have to walk far from their accommodation for medical support. One way this can be achieved is by having sattelite centres which would run for a few hours everyday. The sattelite centres would be at the  accommodations where our groups are staying.
 
Inshallah we would be able to come up with a strategy.
 
All Jamaat Leaders, Health Boards, Health Subcommitees, Health Professionals, Community Social Workers and Hajj Representatives are invited to attend and to participate fully.
