ZCSS in Bihar, India

The Zainabiya Child Sponsorship Scheme funds a school and provides sponsorships to almost three hundred children in Bihar which has one of the lowest literacy rates in comparison to any other state in India.
The students sponsored range from three year olds in kindergarten to others in their mid-twenties. Many students are completing their Matriculation exams whilst others are sitting pre-university Exams. The World Federation is also sponsoring students at various universities across Bihar towards achieving their undergraduate degrees.
To truly understand the work of the Zainabiya Child Sponsorship Scheme we would like to share the story of a young student in Patna who despite losing both her parents within a few years leaving her with the responsibility of looking after her disabled brothers persevered with her studies to graduate from university. The ZCSS ensured that throughout this traumatic period she carried on with her studies by providing special grants to her whilst her brothers received care at The World Federation medical facilities in Patna.
The young lady is a qualified teacher and is working. She hopes to take hundreds of children out of illiteracy throughout her teaching career. We at The World Federation have a saying for inspirational people who inspire us and truly achieve something great with the little they have been provided; “Teach a child in a village today, tomorrow they will teach a classroom full of children.”
She could not have achieved her aspirations without your support, the sponsors. She is about to get married and we would like on behalf of all ZCSS sponsors and on behalf of The World Federation to congratulate her and pray that she is blessed with the choicest blessings from Allah swt.
