Youth Courses

Madinah Al-Ilm (18-24 years) & Bab Al-Ilm Summer Short Course (14-17 years)

The World Federation of KSIMC in partnership with The Africa Federation (AFED), The Council of European Jamaats (CoEJ), and its Regional Members has re-organized an excellent educational opportunity for individuals where they will receive spiritual guidance and undergo an experience that will change their lives, and we’re in need of your generous donations to continue this amazing project.

The Madinah and Bab course caters for youth between the ages of 14 - 24 and has been running successfully every summer for the past 10 years.  Youth from various parts of the globe gather together in Iran for three weeks performing a variety of activities. The course includes Islamic Classes, Cultural activities, Spirituality and Recreation.  The course aims to serve as a post-Madrasah education initiative, integrating academic scholarship with a unique experience of cultural relevance of Islam in the modern age. It is packaged along with a sense of enhanced self-knowledge and understanding leading to higher levels of spirituality; as a result, it inspires the participants to a greater service to humanity and their communities back home.

This year, the course is scheduled to run for the participants from 17 July to 6 August 2017. The mentors' training is also scheduled to take place in Iran between 13 July to 15 July 2017.

The 2016 course was successfully completed. We have had phenomenal feedback on social media by parents, students and the general public.  The report is made available on our site ( please see link below)

This course cannot be achieved without proper resources and finances to support our valuable mission.  If parents desire to have such excellent educational programs available to our children, we will need your support in whatever amount you can and however, you can. The Madinah and Bab course program is in need of your generous donations and contributions that will surely serve as Sadaqa Jariya (continuous charity) that will benefit in the Hereafter.

Donating to the cause of providing spiritual and religious education for our children is indeed one of the most worthy causes that a believer can invest it as its fruits will run generations ahead of you.

May you be rewarded for your generosity and care for the community’s youths.

“And whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allah’s Cause), HE will replace it” ( Quran 34:39)

“I cannot organise the words and thoughts in my mind together to truly articulate how I feel and what I experienced during my time in Iran. It is this feeling that left its mark on me, a sort of spiritual energy that I took back home to Canada after an eye-opening and truly holistic experience.”

Fatimah Hamam (Participant from Canada)

“This three-week summer course is a chance to taste but a morsel of these amazing blessings of knowledge, spirituality and peace. And as a mentor, not only is this an experience that one can journey, but also a chance to serve and observe others making this incredible journey of connection to the Lord Almighty and the Ma'sumeen. In the end, I must say, that home is where the heart is, and there is no place else where I feel the peace of home, in my heart but here, the Holy City of Qum.”

Sr. Asma Sultan Ali Rashed (Mentor from Qum)

“Indeed it’s so much joy to read of your efforts and achievements in the way of Allah that the heart just throbs with lots of dua for you and your team and whoever involved in this noble course, may the Almighty accept all your humble ways in taking care of these young students.”

Sabira Khimji (Parent testimonial)

“I would like to thank you personally for the incredible and selfless efforts put in by your team for the Bab/Madinah course that culminated a few days ago. As parents, we have been catching up with Ali over the last few days and according to his own words, 'it has been the best trip of his life”.

Altaf Rashid (Parent testimonial)
