The World Federation and Hiridjee Foundation are eager to empower female and male Khoja students by offering a chance to study further within their chosen field.
The aim is to provide a limited number of Khoja students from our community who can demonstrate Academic excellence and cannot afford the cost of university tuition fees, an opportunity to pursue their higher education goals either for an undergraduate or a postgraduate course.
The Hiridjee Foundation Student Loan will only cover university tuition fee expense and will be paid directly to the university.
Supporting Students Since 2008
The Hiridjee Foundation Student Loan has helped Khoja female students from our community to pursue their Higher Education since 2008.
Successful applicants have pursued various courses such as Law, Mathematics, Dental Surgery, Psychology, Optometry, Economics, Neuroscience and many more. The successful applicants have proceeded to study their preferred courses at well reputed universities around the world, including Queen Mary University, Birmingham University, Aston University, La Trobe University to name a few.
The World Federation of KSIMC would like to take this opportunity to thank The Hiridjee Foundation for their generosity in providing Higher Education loans for Khoja students to pursue higher education and achieve their lifelong dreams. We pray to the Almighty to continue showering the family with blessings and grant them infinite rewards for their continued support towards the field of Higher Education. Ameen.
The applicant must be:
1. Female or Male Khoja Student wanting to pursue Bachelors or Masters degree course beginning in 2024. (intake for Sep-24 and Jan-25).
2. Able to demonstrate academic excellence, financial need as well as a robust career plan*.
What does the application not cover:
1. Any other course which is not a Bachelors or Masters course.
2. Expense for other items such as accommodation, living, transport, visa expenses etc.
How does it work?
1. Applicants must submit their Preliminary Loan Questionnaire as soon as possible (see below for the link to the Loan Questionnaire).
2. Thereafter applications will be vetted and those who qualify, will be invited to complete a detailed loan application form and subsequently an interview.
3. If your loan application is successful, you will receive a response by 31 August 2024.
4. Once loan is approved, please prompt your university to send us an invoice in the name of “The World Federation – Education Department“
5. The Payment will be paid directly to the university (This may take up to three weeks).
