The World Federation, through the Council of European Jamaats and MCE, had the honour of hosting and welcoming our brothers and sisters from the Paris North and Paris South Jamaats on Saturday 26th February 2022.

Mehfile Zainab (Paris North) and Mohammad Imambara (Paris South), in conjunction with MCE, are collaborating with the Legacy to take parts of the Legacy’s Prince of Believers Exhibition to Paris, so that members of the community can benefit from this extraordinary display showcasing the life of Imam Ali (a) in French and Gujrati.

As we walked through the different stations, ideas were discussed, stories from the Imam’s life were shared and feelings of awe, despair and immense pride were evident as we ventured through the trials and triumphs of our Commander in Chief’s life.

After an intense afternoon of brainstorming and time travel, a meeting was organised at KSIMC of London, Hujjat Imambargha Stanmore (to whom we are indebted for the great help in offering their venue). It was a great opportunity where team members from The WF and CoEJ had the opportunity to exchange views and dine with the esteemed guests from Paris. From COEJ – Br Murtaza Kanani – Vice President,  Sr Sabira Lakha – Secretary General,  Br Farhan Jamal – Assistant Secretary General, and Br Mohammed Ali Muraj – Treasurer were in attendance. From The WF there was Br Arifali Hirji – Secretary General, Sr Zulekha Hirji – Head of MCE, Sis Maryam Datoo – Senior Project Coordinator for MCE,  Dr. Gulammehdi Sumar – Head of WF-AID and Sr Sabira Juma – Head of Marketing and Communications were in attendance.

We look forward to many more such opportunities, where the community can come together in conversation and collaboration, honouring Imam Ali (a) and the Ahlulbayt (a), for the communal benefit of our community inshallah.
