The Risalah Training Institute aims to:

  • Translate knowledge into practice through values-based training that fosters spiritual, intellectual, and professional growth
  • Collaborate with experts in leadership, education, healthcare, finance, and other sectors to design field-specific, practical programmes.
  • Deliver interactive, experiential training that equips individuals and communities to apply the teachings of the Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt (a) in their daily lives.
  • Deepen engagement with the Qur’an through programmes in recitation, memorisation, understanding, and application, helping to shape hearts and habits through its guidance.
  • Produce guidebooks, toolkits, and other practical resources that support the integration of Islamic values into professional and community life.

RTI’s Forthcoming Training Programmes

Leadership and Volunteerism Leading to Serve A training that cultivates a God-centred leadership ethos grounded in Islamic values. Participants explore leadership, decision-making, and community responsibility through the teachings and examples of the Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt (a).
  Serving with Sincerity A practical introduction to volunteering with excellence, humility, and professionalism. This course develops core skills such as teamwork, boundaries, communication, and service rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Communication Communicating Knowledge Effectively A programme designed to help preachers convey Islamic knowledge with clarity, confidence, and impact. It covers message structure, audience engagement, and ethical communication inspired by Qur’anic guidance.
  Academic Research and Writing A skills-based course that develops participants’ ability to conduct sound scholarly research and produce clear, high-quality academic writing. The programme supports the effective communication of Islamic scholarship with rigour and precision, from research planning to final written work.
Education Values-based Education This course explores how Islamic values shape curriculum, pedagogy, and classroom culture. Participants gain practical tools to foster holistic formation in learners through a Qur’an-centred educational approach.
  Qur’anic Values in Modern Classrooms A practical training for educators on integrating Qur’anic themes into contemporary teaching contexts. It offers strategies for nurturing character, spiritual awareness, and ethical reflection in today’s learners.
Health and Ethics Prophetic Medicine An introduction to the spiritual and holistic teachings on health found in Prophetic tradition. Participants learn about well-being, prevention, and healing through a synthesis of classical guidance and contemporary relevance.
  Bio-medical Ethics A course that examines contemporary medical questions through the lens of Islamic ethics. Topics include end-of-life care, fertility, organ donation, and clinical decision-making, guided by the sharia and Qur’anic principles.
  Mental Health and Well-being An introduction to mental health through an Islamic lens, integrating Qur’anic guidance, the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (a), and contemporary psychology to support emotional well-being, resilience, and ethical self-care.
Family Tarbiyah in the Home A values-based guide to nurturing faith, character, and emotional well-being within the family. Parents learn practical routines and Qur’anic principles that support holistic upbringing.
  Marriage Counselling A foundational training for those offering support to couples in the community. It covers communication, conflict resolution, ethics of care, and the Islamic framework for healthy marital relationships.
Finance and Family Law Calculating Khums with Confidence A clear and practical introduction to understanding and calculating khums. This course empowers participants to fulfil this obligation correctly and appreciate its spiritual and communal significance.
  Islamic Wills and Estate Planning A practical guide to preparing Islamically compliant wills and managing estates responsibly. Participants learn key principles, legal considerations, and essential steps for ensuring their wishes are honoured in accordance with Islamic teachings.
  Cryptocurrency and Digital Assets A clear and accessible introduction to emerging digital forms of wealth through the lens of Islamic ethics. Participants explore the nature of cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and digital investment risks while examining questions of ḥālal/ḥarām, ownership, transparency, and financial responsibility.
Technology Artificial Intelligence A foundational introduction to the opportunities and challenges of AI from an Islamic ethical perspective. Participants explore key concepts, practical applications, and emerging questions around technology, responsibility, and human flourishing.
Qur’anic Engagement Qur’anic Recitation Training in correct pronunciation, rhythm, and beauty of Qur’anic recitation.
  Qur’anic Memorisation A structured approach to memorising Qur’anic passages with clarity, consistency, and spiritual connection.
Qur’anic Understanding An introduction to key themes, contexts, and meanings in the Qur’an, helping participants deepen both intellectual and spiritual insight.
