The Messenger of Allah (SAW) addressed the believers and spoke of the arrival of the month of Allah – a month characterised by blessing and mercy, in which people are invited to the hospitality of Allah and honoured among those who receive His grace.

Shahr Ramadhan is a time when compassion becomes action –The blessed month translates our empathy into tangible relief for the underprivileged. By feeding the hungry and easing the struggles of those in need, we turn our spiritual reflections into life-changing support. Our temporary hunger serves as a reminder of the daily reality for many, softening our hearts to give with dignity.
In this spirit, WF-AID will continue its Ramadhan Relief efforts, ensuring that families facing hardship can observe this blessed month with reassurance and dignity.
As our Secretary General, Alhaj Ali Jawad Hansraj, reminds us:
“Because of your compassion, families will fast with dignity, knowing that their tables will not remain empty. You are the reason a mother feels relief, a father feels hope, and a child feels joy at the moment of iftar.”

Across 24 Countries this compassion will translate into meaningful action in communities where uncertainty would otherwise define the experience of Shahr Ramadhan. By providing essential food support, we will help ease the burden of hunger and offer reassurance to families in some of the world’s most vulnerable regions.

Last Shahr Ramadhan, your generosity enabled WF-AID to deliver over 24 million meals to families across the world. This impact reflects your compassion and trust that continue to sustain this programme year after year.
