Across classrooms in Kenya and Tanzania, too many children begin their school day carrying the weight of hunger. The consequences of this hunger are evident – children who cannot concentrate, who fall behind their peers, who stop coming all together. Hunger robs children of the chance to learn, to grow and to break free from the cycle of poverty that surrounds them. 

Fill My Cup is WF-AID’s school breakfast programme, delivering nutritious daily meals to children in schools across Kenya and Tanzania. These meals give the children the incentive to attend, the energy to learn and the foundation that every child deserves. 

The programme is delivered in close partnership with trusted local organisations who are embedded in the communities they serve. Meals are sourced and prepared locally, ensuring that every aspect of project is rooted in sustainability.
