Once again, WF-AID is privileged to support vulnerable communities, ensuring they can observe the blessed month of Shahr Ramadan with dignity and peace of mind. Our work is inspired with guidance from the noble example of the Ahlul-Bayt (A.S), whom the Qur’an honours as those who “give food—despite their own need—to the poor, the orphan, and the captive” (76:8).

Each day during Shahr Ramadan, we fast with the certainty that our hunger is short-lived, knowing relief arrives with the time of Maghrib.

For millions around the world, however, hunger does not end at Maghrib. It continues long after the obligatory fast ends, a daily reality we are called to ease.
