The visit marked a significant step towards delivering a key manifesto pledge: ensuring the World Federation is recognised as a confident and credible voice for our global community on the international stage.Engaging with senior figures from across the diplomatic community, the World Federation showcased its work in healthcare, education, community development and Islamic thought leadership through ICAIR, while exploring opportunities to build strategic partnerships and increase the contribution of faith-based organisations to global policy discussions.

The visit to New York also saw engagements with our community in New York (SIJNY), where Mohammad Mahdi had discussions with youth, elders and community leaders focused on the future of the global Khoja community and how our institutions can continue creating meaningful value for future generations while remaining firmly rooted in the legacy of Imam Hussain (a.s.).
The visit successfully strengthened the World Federation’s international profile, expanded strategic relationships, amplified the voice of the global Shia community and reaffirmed our commitment to standing with those facing injustice.
