Join the WF-AID Volunteer Team

WF-AID is inviting members of the community from across the United Kingdom to join our growing volunteer network and support humanitarian efforts through their Jamaats and beyond.

By signing up, volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, assist with events and distributions, support fundraising campaigns, and be part of a team helping to deliver real impact on the ground.

Whether you have volunteered before or are getting involved for the first time, no prior experience is needed. WF-AID will provide guidance, online volunteer training and event briefings so volunteers feel confident, informed and supported, wherever they are based.

Why volunteer with WF-AID?

Volunteering with WF-AID is a chance to serve vulnerable communities while building practical skills in teamwork, communication, fundraising, events and community engagement.

You will be part of a purpose-driven team supporting humanitarian work across more than 30 countries.

How you can get involved

There are different ways to get involved depending on your availability, interests and skills.

Volunteers can support with events and fundraising by helping at stalls, community events and appeal campaigns, assist with packing and distribution by preparing materials, aid items, merchandise or appeal resources, help with administration and coordination through event planning, volunteer coordination and behind-the-scenes tasks, contribute to media and content by capturing and sharing WF-AID’s work and impact, or offer general support wherever help is needed.

We are looking for volunteers from all locales across the United Kingdom, with a current priority on London, Birmingham, Leicester, Peterborough, Essex and Milton Keynes.

What happens after signing up?

After completing the sign-up form, a member of the WF-AID team will be in touch with the next steps.

Volunteers may be added to the relevant WhatsApp group, where event opportunities, availability polls, online training updates and appeal briefings will be shared.
