Obituary for Marhum Alhaj Abbasali Shabbirali Virani

With profound sorrow, The World Federation together with India Federation, Mumbai jamaat mourn the passing of Marhum Alhaj Abbasali Shabbirali Virani, a dedicated and tireless servant of the community in India.

Marhum Abbasali bhai rendered invaluable services to KSI Jamat Mumbai, serving as a Managing Committee Member, Hon. Joint Secretary and Vice President, with his most recent assignment serving as the Hon. Secretary of India Federation where he had been instrumental in supporting the various projects of The World Federation.

His leadership journey reflected unwavering commitment, sincerity, and a deep sense of responsibility towards the progress and wellbeing of the community. His vision and dedication helped drive impactful initiatives in every sphere, from Housing to Education and from Ramadan relief to Khoja Heritage.

Marhum was widely known for his warmth, humility, and quiet dedication. His presence at numerous community programmes and his continuous efforts to uplift those in need stood as a testament to a life devoted to selfless service. He worked closely with fellow leaders and volunteers, inspiring many through his character and actions.

He will be remembered not only for his leadership and contributions, but for his steadfast devotion to the Ahlulbayt (AS) and his lifelong commitment to serving humanity.

We pray to Allah (SWT) to grant Marhum an elevated status in Jannah under the shade of the Masoomeen (AS), forgive his shortcomings with His infinite mercy, and accept his lifelong service as thawaab-e-jaariya for his soul.

May Allah (SWT) grant patience (sabr) to his family, friends, and the entire community during this difficult time.
