ICAIR Announces the Release of Al-Sidrah Vol. 12, Issue 3

The International Centre for Advanced Islamic Research (ICAIR), in partnership with the Ahl al-Bayt Islamic Seminary, is pleased to present the latest edition of Al-Sidrah Magazine (Vol. 12, Issue 3).

This issue of Al-Sidrah reflects a defining feature of the Islamic intellectual tradition: its ability to engage meaningfully with both inherited knowledge and present realities.

Across its pages, readers will find scholarship that moves seamlessly between classical foundations and contemporary concerns. From discussions on the etiquettes of commerce and the best times for prayer, to reflections on congregational worship and devotional literature, the issue grounds itself in the lived religious practices of the believer.

At the same time, it opens wider horizons. Through a study of al-Karājikī’s theological legacy and an introduction to the Qurʾānic exegesis of Mujtahidah Nusrat Begum Amin, the issue highlights the depth and diversity of the tradition – past and often overlooked.
